Tarbat Golf Club is a 9hole links course set on the banks of the Dornoch Firth.

Situated in Portmahomack, some 40 minutes from Invergordon, Tarbat is offered as a half day golf excursion for short stay vessels or for those wishing to play nine holes of golf only.

 

 

 

 

Founded nearly 100 years ago,Tarbat is a typical community 9 hole links course on a promontory close to Royal Dornoch and Tain - its Highland setting is very special with spectacular views.

 

A testing course where few break par; with honesty box "pay before play" operation.

 

The village boasts the "best small restaurant" in the Highlands, two good hotels and a Discovery Centre explaining the Dark Ages of the history of Scotland.
